Son of Madhu, Lavanāsura was ruling over Mathura. He was killed by Śatrughna as per Sri Rāma's command, to protect Dharma.

It was an ideal rule where, among countless glories - everyone felt safe, no untimely death was faced by people. Agriculture production was aplenty, Health of everyone was assured. People were Bhaktās and no one was unjust. Many poets have extolled the physical beauty of Rāma who ruled for 11,000 years. Brāhmaṇas were well versed in Vedas. The list goes on...

Bhagavān who was born in Vrishni Vamsa, killed countless numbers of Asurās who we sent to kill Him. A few of them were Madhu, Śakaṭāsura, Yamalārjunas

Krishna and Balarama learnt under Guru Sāndeepani, in Avantikā. It is one of the seven Moksha sthalams, the other six being Ayodhya, Mathura, Māyā, Kāshī, Kānchī, Dwāraka. Avantika is now called Ujjain.

Sāndeepani's son was bathing in Prabhāsa Kshetram sea. Then a huge water-living creature (Panchajanāsuran) grabbed him and ate him up. Sandīpani wanted his son alive and back.

Also known as Bhaumāsuran, he was ruling over Prāgjyothispura and giving trouble to humans and Munis. He abducted Kaśeru, daughter of Tvashtā and brought a huge amount of precious stone and also many beautiful girls - from among humans, Gandharvās, Devas, Apsaras groups etc. amounting to 16,100 in total. he blocked the Devayāna mārga also. Finally, he was killed by Sri Krishna with help from Sathyabhāma (as per Purāṇa).

He was a great devotee of Śiva and got many boons from Him. One of the boons was that he should be killed only by a young virgin girl. He was roaming around with a lot of pride. When Anirudha (who was in love with Usha, daughter of Bāṇāsura) was treated hardly by the asura, Krishna attacked the asurā, in the process fought Lord Mahādeva and finally Bhagavān chopped off the asurās 1,000 hands.

Vyāsa bhagavān said that the bad omens did not end with the killing of Śiśupāla. With you as the primary reason, the might of Bhīma and Arjuna will see that all Kshatriyās are destroyed. This will play out in the next 13 years.

Duryodhana along with Śakuni examined the entire palace adjoining the Sabhā mandapam. He had never seen such divine designs in Hastināpuram. He mistook a lake with crystal lotuses for land and fell into it. He committed more such blunders like and seeing his errors, a few of the Pāṇḍavas laughed. However, as per the original text, Draupadi was not one of those who laughed at or inlsuted Duryodhana on his misery. This version has come down only through oral renditions of the epic.

Duryodhana was afflicted at the prosperity of the Pāṇḍavas and was consumed by jealousy. He wanted this to be informed to his father by Śakuni. Śakuni said that with their (kauravas') strength the mighty Pāṇḍavas cannot be defeated. However, there was a means by which they could be won over. Though Yudhiṣṭhira liked to play Dyūta he was not good at it. He (Śakuni) was an invincible expert in Dyūta (game of dice). Śakuni wanted Duryodhana to tell all this to Dhṛtarāṣṭra and obtain his consent to invite Yudhiṣṭhira for the game.
