Forms of Shiva

Shiva comes to us in several forms. He has been everywhere, in many forms. Perhaps from the times of Sindu Saraswati civilization we have worshipped Shiva. Sixty four manifestations of Shiva are mentioned in the Sivagamas. Let us explore some of these forms.

Each of the 11 questions in this quiz will take you through a story of Shiva; a beautiful sketch of Shiva in that form; and a living sculpture in our temples.

This quiz is prepared from a book and sketches of Prof. K. Venkatachari called Manifestations of Shiva. This is published by Sri Ramakrishna Math.
