How do we select the book winners?
After you finish the quiz, there is an option to join the lucky draw for the book.
2. If you choose the option (not mandatory), your whatsapp will open up with a predefined message to the IndiYatra quiz number. You can send the message (or choose not to).
3. The winners are choosen out of the messages that we receive.
4. The first winner is the one who sends the first message after the quiz is released.
5. The other 4 winners are randomly selected. We scroll through the messages and stop at 4 random numbers. Generally we choose the winners before 8 PM the day after the day of quiz release. For the language quizzes, all winners are choosen randomly.
6. We inform the winners through WhatsApp; and request their name and address.
7. Sometimes the lucky winner may not respond to our message or follow up call. In that case we choose another winner. That’s all. If the earlier winners responds after announcement, we send them the book, but we are not able to update the name in the website since 5 winners would have already been announced.
8. Your score does not matter, you just have to complete the quiz and send us a message. The winners are choosen from those who send us a message. It does not matter how many times you try the quiz or ping us. Your messages appear as only one chat in whatsapp.
9. The lucky draw throws up numbers outside India too. We send the book to their local address. Sometime they have choosen not to receive the book. We choose another number then. In a few cases they report that the book has not been received. We share the Amazon (or other seller) delivery update with them.
10. We do receive messages expressing disappointment about not winning the book. It is based on lucky draw only. Hopefully you will be lucky in future quizzes.
